TIG 6000 B inverter generator: loads of power with low consumption

Camper owners who prefer wild camping, without renouncing the comforts of home, have to contend with energy autonomy.

Camper owners who prefer wild camping, without renouncing the comforts of home, have to contend with energy autonomy. To use an air conditioner or electrical appliances, such as hair dryers, coffee makers or toasters, requires a reliable source of energy and the new Telair TIG 6000 B Inverter petrol generator may be the perfect solution. Thanks to collaboration between Telair and Yamaha, a new generator is born, equipped with a 5.6 kW capacity inverter. Modern, variable-rpm electronic engine control lowers both noise levels and petrol consumption. In addition, the generator is housed in a metal casing lined with high-insulation soundproofing materials for further noise reduction, making it usable even when parked close to other vehicles. The sturdy metal structure has a pull-out drawer that provides easy access to the generator, for practical and safe mechanical maintenance operations. The greatest innovation of the Telair TIG B 6000 generator, however, is the use of an inverter, which delivers a highly stable voltage and output frequency, with a pure sine wave. The operating principle is that the variable frequency AC voltage generated by the permanent magnet alternator is transferred to the inverter, where a first electronic circuit converts it to DC voltage and a second circuit then transforms it to 230 Volts AC with a 50 Hz frequency. The advantages of this technology over conventional systems is that it provides a constantly stable 230 V power supply with a fixed frequency of 50 Hz and near-zero distortion, whatever the load connected. This means that you can also connect more sensitive equipment and devices, such as personal computers, which require a stable power supply with no surges. The alternating current generated is the same as, if not better than, that of the home. The thermal motor automatically adjusts, depending on the device connected, producing less wear on mechanical parts.   The elegant remote-control panel provides the user with all information on how the generator is running (oil level, operating temperature and power consumption).  The BOOST function allows a temporarily increase in power for high electrical loads. Naturally, the Telair TIG 6000 B can also be operated through the Teleco HUB App, and turned on and off or remotely controlled with an iOS or Android smartphone or tablet.Technical specifications Engine YAMAHA MZ 300 Rotation speed  2400 - 3600 rpm Max. power output 5,6 KW - 230V10A / 13,3 Vdc FrequencyDistorsion 50 Hz1% Starting  Electric Noise level  58 - 63 dBA (7m) Max. fuel consumption   2,2 Lt/h Dimensions 34,5x61x46,5 cm Weight 75 Kg.
