Teleco presents integrated onboard energy management ecosystem
A single hardware and software platform connects the control unit, lithium batteries, DC/DC charger, touch panel, inverter and solar power system, simplifying the management of the entire recreational vehicle.
Lugo di Ravenna (29 August 2026) – Onboard electronics are playing an increasingly important role in modern recreational vehicles. Lithium batteries, solar panels, DC/DC chargers, inverters, and control units are no longer simply independent components, but elements that must work together in a coordinated manner to ensure autonomy, reliability, and ease of use. In response to this development, Teleco has launched an integrated energy management ecosystem – an in-house-developed platform in which all the main devices within the electrical system communicate with one another. It provides manufacturers with a complete solution to equip the growing number of motorhomes and campervans in the 2027 model-year ranges.
All components speak the same language
At the heart of the system is the TEB310 electronic control unit, available in a range of configurations to meet the requirements of different manufacturers. The unit coordinates the vehicle’s entire electrical system: it supplies power to the 12-volt appliances, manages battery charging from the mains supply, alternator and solar panels, protects the electrical circuits and controls the main onboard services via an elegant touch panel installed inside the vehicle.
The new Premium LiFePO4 lithium batteries complete the system. They feature a sophisticated Battery Management System (BMS), which continuously monitors each individual cell, protects the battery against overcharging, overheating and deep discharge, and communicates with the other devices in the system in real time. As well as being up to 70 per cent lighter than conventional lead-acid batteries, they offer significantly shorter charging times and a service life up to 10 times longer. They have also been specifically designed for use in recreational vehicles. While the vehicle is in motion, the TBooster Pro converters optimise the charging of the leisure batteries automatically, including in modern Euro 6 vehicles equipped with smart alternators. Thanks to step-up/step-down technology, they always provide the correct charging curve, improving the efficiency of the system and helping to extend battery life. The ecosystem can also incorporate Teleco inverters, MPPT charge controllers, and solar panels, completing an energy platform developed entirely by the Italian company.

For motorhome and campervan users, this translates into tangible benefits. The entire energy system is managed automatically, while battery status is constantly monitored. The system optimises charging from the alternator, solar panels and mains electricity, and allows the vehicle’s entire electrical system to be controlled from a single interface. The result is greater off-grid autonomy, improved energy efficiency, longer battery life and much simpler management of life on board.
